Nora Catherine Murray

1926 - 2023

It is with great sorrow the family of Mrs. Nora Murray announces her passing on June 8, 2023 at the age of 96 years.

Nora will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother who loved visiting and socializing with friends and family. She also had a love of Bingo, playing whenever she had the opportunity.

Nora will be loved and cherished by her daughter Myrna (Michiel); her sons: Douglas, James (Diane), and Gerald (Larry); her grandchildren: Donald, Ryan, Rod (Natasha), Michael, Christopher, Danielle (Dave), and Stephanie (Brad); her 6 great-grandchildren and by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Nora was predeceased by her husband Leonard; her brother Murray; sister Cora and by her step-brothers Melford and Leonard.

A Public Visitation for Nora will be held from 12:00 – 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Parkland Funeral Chapel, 3502 – 44 Avenue in Stony Plain, AB. Followed by a Graveside Service at Inga Cemetery, Parkland County, AB.
