Ralph Johannes Leitner

Ralph Johannes Leitner, at the age of 87 and in the presence of family, peacefully passed from this world into the loving arms of his Heavenly Father in the morning of 30 April 2025. On his exit from the Good Samaritan Care Centre in Stony Plain, AB Ralph was honored by the entire staff who were standing by.

Ralph greatly cherished the loving care that was consistently poured upon him during his stay as they attended to his cardiac and pulmonary struggles.

Ralph is survived by his loving, faithful wife Ruthie, his three children Cynthia, Ralph and Cari and two step-daughters Connie and Karene. Ralph has been blessed with eight grand-children and seventeen great grand-children. He is survived by his two sisters Ruth and Renate, and brother Ken.

Born in Fort William, ON, on 18 February 1938, he was later raised in the town of Middlebro, MB. Ralph entered the Canadian Air Force in 1956 committing a 44-year career to the military. He served across Canada, six years for NATO in Germany, attained the rank of Master Warrant Officer, and completed his career as Captain with the Cadet Instructors List in Edmonton.
