Ralph Willard McKay

Ralph is survived by his children: Heather, Darrin (Kathy), Karin (Chris), Joanne. His grandchildren; Natasha, Zachary, Kyle, Shaylyn, William, Savanah. Great grandchildren: Johnathan, Kiera, Amelia, Jaylee, Bookyr and one on the way. He is also survived by his nieces and nephew Lorna (Ed), Heather (Cookie) and Bernie, numerous great nieces and nephews. Half siblings Karen (Al), Sheila (Reg). Ian, Randy and Rick.

Ralph was predeceased by his wife Edna, son Russell, niece Connie, parents Charlie and Mary Jane, and brothers Bill, Kenny and Duncan.

Ralph was a devoted father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He was a dedicated member of the community, serving on the Wabamun council, Wabamun and Brightbank Lions Clubs. After retiring from McKay’s Auto, he moved to the family homestead near Keephills, where he ran a successful farm. He enjoyed family gatherings at the farm and bingo nights in Spruce Grove with friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 19, 2023 at 2:30 pm at Seniors Drop In Center 5018 – 51 Avenue, Stony Plain.

If family or friends desire in lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute or a Cancer Charity of your choice.
