We will all miss Rick dearly and hold his memory close to our hearts forever. Rick and his family were square dancers who travelled all through Alberta. Every year in August, they would pack up and drive their trailer to Penticton, BC, for the annual jamboree. For two whole weeks, they would dance until their feet hurt, and they would cherish the time they had as a family. Rick loved taking on woodworking projects and crafting pieces for his family and friends. He once took a class at NAIT to use their tools and create a bedroom set for himself and his wife that they kept with them for 39 years. His golden years were spent travelling through North America, escaping the cold winters of Alberta, never going the same way twice with his beloved wife Louise by his side. When Louise could no longer travel, they settled in Wabamun AB, where Rick would stay until he was admitted to the hospital. Rick later lived out the remainder of his life under the care of Covenant Health St. Joseph’s Auxiliary Hospital. He will be missed greatly. Nous t’amions Rick Lemoine.
Join us to celebrate Rick's life on May 31, 2025, from 1-4 PM at the Wabamun Seniors Centre, 5125 51 Avenue, Wabamun, AB.
