Bud will be deeply missed by Anne, his loving wife of 66 years, sons Dean (Cindy) and David (Marli), grandchildren Jesse (Shawna), Sara and Kendall and great grandchildren Blake and Brock. He is also survived by his sisters Ida (Chris) and Nola (Dave).
Bud was predeceased by his brothers Tom (Beret), Bill (Muriel) and Larry (Mary).
Bud was born on November 6, 1929 on the family farm near Govan, Saskatchewan where he and Anne had a mixed farm raising various crops and Hereford cattle until they retired to Stony Plain in 1997. Bud loved selling shop equipment off the farm under his business Bud Equipment and he enjoyed meeting people and making new friends at farm shows he attended. Bud and Anne loved attending old time fiddle contests and travelling with their RV across Canada. The friendships they developed in Govan, Stony Plain and where they travelled are still cherished today.
A memorial service will be held on May 27th at St. Augustine's Anglican Church in Spruce Grove at 2:00 p.m.
Details regarding the graveside service in Govan will be shared at a later date.
The family would like to thank the caring staff of the Westview Extended Care facility in Stony Plain for the exceptional care they provided.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.ParklandFuneralServices.com for the Watson family.
