He leaves behind his wife Dorothy, their son Kristopher, daughter Billie; & granddaughters: Paige, Olivia, & Sophia; his brother Donnie & sister, Connie as well as numerous extended family.
Ron was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, grew up in Edmonton, married & lived in the surrounding Parkland & Lac Ste. Anne counties. He challenged himself at a variety of jobs, settling on an education & career as heavy-duty mechanic. He had many outdoor hobbies, but was happiest when he could put his skills to work for his family & friends.
He enjoyed participating & volunteering in activities with Onoway fish & game & relished closing his day with a soak in the hot tub.
We would like to send out heartfelt thank yous to the paramedics, firemen, police department, victim services, & Parkland Funeral Services for all their help & kindness shown to our family.
Ron wished to be cremated & his ashes taken to the mountains.
