It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Stuart Leo Potvin on March 9, 2024 at 72. Stu will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years, Georgette, their children Shaun (Trish), Michelle (Robert) and Steven (Danielle) as well as his grandchildren, Ayla, Rowan, Nicholas, Calli, Brooke, and Jaina, who were the light of his life. Stu was predeceased by his parents, Leo and Victoria, and brother Chan-Do.
As per his request, there will be a private mass held at Annunciation Church in Edmonton on Saturday March 16, 2024 at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Good Samaritan Society in Stony Plain, where Stu called home for the last 6 years. Cremation is entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via their website.
