Sylvio Roger Fillion

He was the best husband, dad, Wumpa, brother and friend. Syl will be remembered as a truly amazing and strong man. His smile and laugh will remain forever in our hearts.

Sylvio will be forever cherished by his children Ed (Sharon) and Margaret aka Moe (Deen); his grandchildren: Cassandra (Chris), Christopher, Mikaela, Nikolas and Melanie; his brothers: Marcel, Jean-Guy (Betty), Maurice (Rita), Adonias Jr. and Alfred (Madeleyne); his sisters: Louise, Rose-Marie, Agnès (Norm) and Jacqueline (Antonio): sisters-in-law Huguette (Wilfrid) and Jean Gordon (Laurent) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Sylvio was predeceased by his loving wife Lorraine; his sons Michael and Barry; his parents Adonias and Léona; his brothers: Marcel, Wilfrid, and Laurent and by his sisters: Lucille, Raymonde and Ginette.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 9, 2021 at Parkland Funeral Chapel, 3502 – 44 Avenue, Stony Plain, AB.

If friends desire, Memorial Donations may be made in Sylvio’s memory to S.T.A.R.S Suite 100, 1519 – 35 Avenue East, Edmonton International Airport, AB T9E 0V6.
