Andrew Wenny Pierre-Louis

On July 30th 2022, Andrew Wenny Pierre-Louis, father, son, brother, friend, and colleague, passed away unexpectedly in his home. Andrew was raised in Spring Valley, NY where he attended primary and high school. He was a voluntary firefighter for the village of Spring Valley for several years. He later attended Rockland Community College with a strong interest in information technology. After some time he built a beautiful life in Beaverton, Oregon while mastering his career within IT and focusing on his family.

Andrew was an avid Jeep truck enthusiast, fisherman, hunter, camper and hiker. His hobbies brought him so much joy and peace, especially in the presence of his good friends and sons. Andrew truly enjoyed meeting new people from all facets of his life while maintaining old friendships from childhood. Andrew’s true contribution to our world is that he never met a stranger. Every person in the world to him was a friend he hadn’t met yet. He always saw the good in people. Andrew will lovingly be remembered for his contagious hardy laugh, welcoming smile, selflessness and big heart.

Andrew will be survived by his two sons Zehir and Luka, mother Marie , father Jean, sisters Cassandre, Marlie, Danielle, Marie and brother Jean.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Service, 113 Lake Rd. E , Congers, NY 10920 on Friday, August 12th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday August 13th at 12 p.m. in The Church of Saint Joseph, 245 N. Main Street in Spring Valley, NY 10977.

The graveside service will be offered on Wednesday, August 17, at 10:00 a.m., in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Greensboro, NC
