Francis Patrick O'Brien

Frankie was born in Queens, NY to Eileen (Fitzgerald) and John O'Brien on May 24, 1966. Moving to Stony Point in 1970, Frankie attended local schools and after graduating worked for many local companies in Haverstraw and Stony Point. Most recently he was employed by Thermo Fisher Scientific in Fair Lawn, NJ.

Frankie was a proud member of the American Legion and a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church. He was an avid sports fan. He loved his NY Yankees, Miami Dolphins as well as the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame.

Frankie is survived by his brothers, John (Shari), and Thomas (Patricia) and a sister, Catherine-Ann (Tom). He was a devoted uncle to his nieces and nephews, Nicole (Vincent), Cassidy (Billy), Thomas, Christine (Chistopher), Matthew and Ava. In addition, Frankie leaves many cousins and friends. He is predeceased in death by his parents, John and Eileen.

A visitation will be held at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home, located at 73 North Liberty Drive, Stony Point, NY on April 26, 2026, from 3:00-7:00. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, April 27, 2026 at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 26 John Street, Stony Point, NY.
