Joseph A. Gorman III passed away on May 5, 2011. He was 63 years old. Joseph was born on December 6, 1947 in Brooklyn, NY to Joseph A. Gorman II and Eleanor (Ollis) Gorman. Joseph lived in Stony Point for over 30 years and was a computer programmer for Lone Star Quarry in Haverstraw, NY for many years. Joseph loved his family and liked to frequent the state parks for fishing and boating. He enjoyed conversations he had with family and friends. Joseph’s life was influenced by his strong Irish heritage. Family may receive friends on Sunday from 7-9pm at Higgins Funeral Home in Stony Point, NY. Private Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to a charity of your choice.
