Therese M. Laible (nee Holmes), 84 years old, passed away November 4, 2011. Wife of the late Robert "Bob". Loving mother of Maryellen (John), Therese, Robert, Thomas (Lynda), Patricia, Alice (Jeff). Devoted Nana of Therese, T.J., Ronnie, Katie, Nicole, Sean, Erin, Lauren, Joey, Paulina, Samantha, Kelly, Megan and Tommy.
She was a retired telecommunication technician for AT&T. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, to her father, Thomas Holmes and her mother, MaryEllen Gallagher. She graduated from Tilden H.S. in Brooklyn. The family will receive friends on Sun. and Mon., from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Higgins Funeral Home in Stony Point. A Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church on Tues., at 10am. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY.
