Alfred T. Goudreau

Alfred Goudreau passed away Friday, June 13, 2025, at home at the age or 94 surrounded by his loving family. He leaves his five children, Joan Goudreau Korn of whom he lived with in Hobe Sound, FL, Michael Goudreau married to Judith Blackmore of Pomfret,CT, David Goudreau married to Midge of Southbridge, MA., John Goudreau married to LouAnn of Holland, MA, and Susan Mahoney married to Joseph of Dudley, MA. He also leaves 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

He is survived by a sister, Anita Boiteau of Parish, FL. He is predeceased by his wife, Gloria, of 57 years, who passed away in 2011, sister, Doris and brothers Robert and Roger.

He also enjoyed our Furbaby, Lily, sitting on his lap so he could give her a treat and pet her. She loved her Pep Pep. It was an every morning routine!

He was born in Southbridge, MA, where he raised his family before retiring to FL 30 years ago. He attended trade school and was a skilled masonry worker and was proud of the many buildings and projects including Notre Dame Church in Southbridge, MA. He was a member of the Bricklayers Union and of Hobe Sound VFW Post 10132.

He enjoyed swimming, playing pool at the VFW and spending joyful moments with family and friends.

A private service will be held in Hobe Sound, FL.
