Alice Evelyn Melendez

Alice attended Bishop McDonald high school also in Brooklyn and graduated with a board of regents degree.

Alice was married to William Melendez for over fifty years until his death in August of 2013. The couple had four Sons, Ronald William, Gregory Paul, William Jon and Douglas Scott. Alice is survived by her sisters Patricia, Grace and brother Richard, her loving sons and granddaughter Shai Evelynn.

Alice, a devout Catholic was a member of St. Joseph's Parish in Stuart, where she was a member of the Legions of Mary. May her devotion lead her to everlasting life at the hands of God.

Alice has a long successful career as a member of the Professional Secretaries International. Alice was the secretary to the president at Stuart National bank where she oversaw the merger and transition to Florida National Bank and subsequent positions with various local banks.

We will miss Alice, her quiet dignity, and loving grace. May she rest in the peace of our lord, Jesus Crist.
