Barbara L Caldwell

Barbara L. (Meyer) Caldwell of Hobe Sound, Florida, formerly of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Martin Memorial Hospital in Stuart, after a courageous battle with Myastenia Gravis.

Barbara leaves behind her beloved husband of 57 years, Ted J. Caldwell, daughters Kimberly Jackson (James) and Kristy Caldwell (Tony Calderon), brother John Meyer, grandchildren Jack Poorbaugh, Luke Poorbaugh, Calvin Calderon, Leonard Jackson and Sean Calderon. She was predeceased by her parents, Clifford and Cornelia Meyer and sister Nancy (Meyer) Grasky.

Barbara was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hobe Sound, where she ushered, organized the social events for the Young at Hearts Club, and helped with the Sunshine Baskets program and served communion.

Family will receive visitors on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from 11:00 to 1:00, with a 1:00 service at Aycock Funeral Home Young & Prill Chapel, 6801 SE Federal Highway, Stuart, FL 34997. Interment immediately following at Fernhill Memorial Gardens.
