Born in Port Maria, Jamaica, Ms. Humphreys had previously lived in Miami, before relocating to Stuart in 2010.
She retired from the University of Miami Law School, where she was an administrator for many years. Ms. Humphreys was a flower enthusiast, enjoyed painting, and gourmet cooking.
Ms. Humphreys is survived by her daughter, Madeleine Humphreys of Stuart, Florida; brother, Errol Falconer of Toronto, Canada; sister, Fay Williams of Miami, Florida, and sister, Joan Gordon of East Windsor, New Jersey.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Aycock Funeral Home in Stuart, Florida.
