Brian Keith O'Donnell

A devoted father of three, Brian’s family and children were his greatest source of pride and purpose. Everything he worked for, built and dreamed about was driven by his desire to provide them with the very best life possible. He loved fiercely, provided tirelessly and led by example: teaching his children the values of bravery, hard work, determination and believing in themselves. He was a fierce provider and protector for all those he loved.

Known throughout the country and within his community as a talented custom boat builder, Brian possessed the rare ability to turn ideas into reality. His creativity, determination and remarkable eye for detail allowed him to build not only exceptional boats, but also lasting friendships, unforgettable memories, and meaningful life lessons. Brian showed all of us that with courage, vision, and relentless hard work dreams truly can become reality.

Brian began working at a marina in Key Largo, Florida, at just 12 years old. From those early beginnings, he transformed his passion, craftsmanship, and vision into several nationally recognized and award-winning custom boat building companies, including Marine Customs Unlimited and L&H Boats in Stuart.

Beyond his talents and accomplishments, Brian will be remembered most for his larger-than-life personality, outspoken nature, unmatched enthusiasm for life, and, above all else, his generous heart. He was never afraid to speak his mind, and more often than not, he was right. He was always willing to lend a hand, offer advice, or help fix absolutely anything — no matter the hour or circumstance. Brian gave life-changing guidance and support to more people than any of us will ever fully know. He was a protector to all around him. In the time leading up to his passing, countless stories were shared that reflected his generosity, loyalty, and willingness to help anyone he believed in.

Though his passing leaves an immeasurable void, Brian’s legacy lives on through his children, his family, the countless lives he touched, the extraordinary work he created, and the memories shared by all who knew and loved him. His bravery, passion for life, and unwavering belief in following your dreams will continue to inspire everyone fortunate enough to have known him.

May Brian’s life remind us all to be brave, to work hard, to follow our dreams fearlessly, to speak honestly, to believe in ourselves and to always lead with a generous heart. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. The world has lost a true custom- original; legends never die.
