Carmen Olivia McGarey, 91, died March 5, 2012, at Life Care Center in Port St. Lucie. She was born in Venezuela and permanently moved to Florida upon her husband’s retirement in 1967. In 1995, she moved from Pompano, Florida to Stuart, FL.
She was a homemaker.
She was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include her daughter, Shirley Lyders of Jensen Beach, her sister, Adelaida Blauw of Arkansas, a grandson, Devin Lyders of Orlando and 2 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar McGarey in 1995.
Services will be private. A memorial mass and gathering will be at a later date.
