Claudia Sabatino

Claudia V. Sabatino, 97, of Stuart, passed away March 4, 2015 at Treasure Coast Hospice. Born on July 21, 1917 in Cambridge, MA, she was the daughter of Thomas and Martha (Robbio) Voce. She had been a resident of Stuart since 2003 coming from South Weymouth, MA. Claudia was a member of the Roman Catholic faith and attended St. Christopher Catholic Church in Hobe Sound. She had been a long time member of Weymouth Newcomer’s Club, joining in 1958. Claudia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Survivors include her son, Edward C. Brackesy (Esther) Waltham, MA; daughters, Jay “Ria” Sabatino of Quincy, MA and Janice Benedetti (Benny) of Stuart, FL; sister, Josephine Mazullo of Somerville, MA; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and niece, Mary Machado. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas A. Sabatino; sister, Mary D’ Amadio and brother, Leonard Voce. Calling hours will be3 – 5 PM, Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Aycock Funeral Home Young & Prill Chapel in Stuart with a Prayer Service at 4:30 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, Monday, March 9, 2015 at St. Christopher Catholic Church I Hobe Sound. Burial will be private at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth.
