Cody taught us this… he was not afraid of getting rained on, he was not afraid to dance in the rain, he wanted the dance and he wanted to be free. Cody taught us how to live every moment of everyday to the absolute fullest. Cody embraced being a free spirit, a dreamer, a staunch protector and a leader. He would enter a room and literally light it up with smiles and laughter from his presence, the room would brighten as he did everyone’s day.
Cody held true to his faith. Cody held true to his convictions, never wavering from either.
Our family is brokenhearted, but we are at peace knowing he has gained his Angel wings and will forever be in Gods loving hands. We know that he is together now in Heaven with his Grandfather Lou and Uncle Frankie in their bass boat fishing and laughing and lying about who caught the biggest fish. We will cherish our shared memories, his voice, his contagious laughter, and know that he will always, always be loved.
Cody is survived by is Father, Dominick Barbanera, his Mother, Lennette Campbell, his Brother Tristan Plojing, his Stepmother, Lisa Barbanera, his Grandparents Phyllis Barbanera, and Carla and Michael Campbell, step grandparents, Linda Ranger, Heidi Barbanera, Johnny and Brenda Morris, Step sisters Lydia and Lauren Logan, Uncle Joseph Barbanera, Aunt Daniele Barbanera and Cousins Nicholas Barbanera, Danielle Barbanera, Jonathon and Jeremy Garrison, Aunt Micele Garrison and Uncle’s Michael and Jeffrey Campbell. So Cody…until we meet again, may you Rest in Peace; and never stop dancing in the rain…
It’s all good my son…
