Elizabeth B Atkinson

Elizabeth Butka Atkinson of West Palm Beach, FL formerly of Monroe and Bridgeport,CT passed away peacefully on Monday, May 5, 2014 at the age of 90. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard E. Atkinson. She is survived by her children Linda L. Cochran and her husband Kevin of Boca Raton, FL and Richard E. Atkinson, Jr. and his wife Linda of Milford, CT and James R. Atkinson and his wife Alice of Shelton, CT as well as grandchildren; Heather Pastir, Amy Touchette, Kathleen Dineson, Casey Cochran and Kaela Cochran along with four great grandchildren; Morgan, Maci, Logan and Jacob. She also leaves behind three brothers; John Butka, George Butka and David Butka and many nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth worked at Chance Vought where she met her husband Dick. They celebrated 50 years of marriage. In her later years she became a Licensed Practical Nurse and enjoyed being a caregiver well into her eighties.

A private Celebration of Life will be held in CT at the convenience of the family.
