Dear Dad,
I miss you so much. I missed you even when you were here, being separated by so many miles. But this is unbearable knowing I can't pick up the phone and talk to you or come for a summer trip and see you. Knowing I will never hug or kiss you again. But you are resting peacefully in heaven now. And I know without a doubt Alyssa was there waiting to greet you. There's a quote I found when Alyssa passed and I think it reminds me of your passing too “An Angel in the book of life wrote down my Daddy's birth and whispered as she closed the book, “too beautiful for earth””.  I couldn't have picked a better father, role model, partner for my mother or head of our family. You have taught me how to be tough when my inner instincts wanted to crumble. Even though I did not get to spend the last part of your life with you in Florida, I have always held you close in my heart. Now another piece of my heart is forever gone and broken. I will never say goodbye to you my Father because I know this is not the end for us to see each other. You will only be going to a place where there's no pain nor suffering. I am happy for you, for you will be with God.
For now we need to go in separate ways. I remember how your arms hold me and give me strength. You were always there to listen, love, and defend me in everything. You were my very best friend. In my triumphs you were always proud. I'm very grateful and proud to call you my dad. Here deep inside my heart you'll always be. I would give up everything I have just to hug you one more time. I remember the last time I held your hand and how you looked at me in the eyes. If only I could turn back the time I would have never let you go.
I felt the world stop and my heart stop beating when they told me you were gone…….
How I wish I was only dreaming. Just like the rain; tears fell down from my eyes, I couldn't speak for awhile. 
Thank you Dad…. For always understanding, listening, caring, and loving me your whole life.

The Luisi family is so sorry for your loss. Charlie was a great guy. I have fond memories of "straightening" up the shelves at the door. Dad sends his condolences as he won't be in Florida for the funeral. Please know that you are in our prayers.

Charlie will be missed he was a great father in-law and friend. I have faith I will see him again. I will be forever grateful to him for giving me his daughters hand to marry. She is the most wonderful wife and friend anyone could have. She is the love of my life. I am truly blessed to be a part of Charlie's family. Rest in Peace.
