

He was born in Brooklyn, New York and had previously lived in Central Islip, New York before relocating to the Hobe Sound area 14 years ago.
George was the owner of Lindstrom’s Deli in Central Islip for 20 years.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy.
George was a member of St Christopher Catholic Church in Hobe Sound, Florida.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ann of Hobe Sound, Florida; son, Michael Lindstrom of Port Richey, FL; daughter, Linda Lindstrom of Raleigh, NC; daughter, Suzanne Wilbur of Stuart, FL; daughter, Kathleen Hughes (Mike) of Riverhead, NY; brothers, James Lindstrom of Jacksonville, North Carolina, and Arthur Lindstrom of Palm Bay, FL: and ten grandchildren, Marie, Eric, Megan, Holly, Candice, Matthew, Lindsay, Autumn, Jennifer, and Breonna.
George was predeceased by his granddaughter, Alyssa.
Visitation will be held on January 5, from 3:00-6:00 PM at Aycock Funeral Home in Stuart, Florida. A memorial mass will be held on January 6, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Christopher Catholic Church at 12001 SE Federal Highway in Hobe Sound FL 33455. Burial to follow at South Florida National Cemetery at 6501 South State Road 7 in Lake Worth FL 33449.
