Glenn Leroy Wilson of Hobe Sound, Florida passed away peacefully on November 26, 2017. He was born in Pennsylvania and raised in New York and Ohio. He was a graduate of University of Akron where he was an acclaimed football Zips from 1950 t0 1952. In 1958, he joined Merrill Lynch. During his 30 year career he rose from financial consultant to Boca Raton branch office manager to regional sales manager Vice President. After retirement, he was hired as Vice President of Dreyfeus Mutual Fund Company to establish the Florida Branch Office System. Glenn and his wife, Joyce were avid golfers and were members of Mariner Sands Country Club and previously Royal Palm Yacht and Country Club in BocaRaton. Glenn is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Joyce Thomas, and two step-daughters: Dion Flannery and Heidi Flannery and four grandchildren, Michael and Kyle Diener and Tucker and Piper Flannery. He is also survived by his nieces Lyn Holt, Susie Burkholder, and Kerri Wilson and their children. Arrangements are under the direction of Aycock Funeral Home Young and Prill Chapel, Stuart, Florida.
