Helen A. Larcom

Helen was born September 19th, 1938, in Brooklyn, NY to Herbert and Betty (Klein) Meinhold. She spent her early childhood there before moving to Towaco, NJ. She graduated from Boonton High School in 1956. She was married on August 19, 1961, to her husband Paul Larcom. She lived in Rock Ridge Lake, Denville NJ where she raised her three daughters and was very active in the community. She worked for Redmond Press for 25 years as a typist and proofreader. After 42 years of living in RRCC in 2003, she moved to Hobe Sound, Florida. During her retirement years she was active in the Retreat Woman's Club and Red Hats. She also continued to enjoy gardening, baking, and her grandchildren as well as traveling with her husband.

Helen is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Paul Larcom. Her daughters Laura Croke (John), Judy LeRoy. Her sister Laura Duffy (Ed). Her grandchildren Amy Steffy (Andrew), Alexander Croke, Joseph P. LeRoy (Marwa), Peter Croke, Philip LeRoy, Sophie LeRoy-Kennedy (Matthew). She is predeceased by her daughter Betsey Larcom-Poliner. She was loved and adored by many other family members and friends.

A visitation for Helen will be held Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Aycock Funeral Home Young & Prill Chapel, 6801 SE FEDERAL HWY, STUART, FL 34997. A funeral mass will occur Friday, August 1, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 12001 SE Federal Hwy, Hobe Sound, FL 33455. A graveside service will occur Friday, August 1, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 FL-7, Wellington, FL 33449.
