

Helena Cardwell Ausley, born October 9, 1928 in Eatontown, New Jersey to Charles Richard Lavene and Macey Layton Lavene died October 14th 2015. Helena moved to Florida in 1947 and was the office nurse for Dr. Ronald Allison in Stuart for 37 years. After retirement she loved to travel, work in the yard and spend time with her extended family. She resided with her daughter in Malabar Florida for the past five years. She attended the First Baptist Church of Malabar. She was an active member of the Malabar Parks Board overseeing the Fern Creek Crossing Park until August of 2015.
She is survived by her son Richard Charles Martiniuk (Judy) and her daughter Patricia Jean Foster (Buddy), grandchildren Benjamin Hall, Christine Willis (Rich), Julie Sorenson (Lewis), Natasha Martiniuk, Richard Henry Martiniuk (Tyler) and two great grandsons Kenneth Willis and Henry Sands. She is also survived by her twin brother Charles Lavene and sister Jane Burkett and many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased in death by her daughter Jane Hall (Rodney).
A Memorial Service will be at First Baptist Church of Malabar, 1665 Malabar Road, Malabar, Fl 32950 on Saturday October 17th at 11:00AM. Also, a Memorial Gathering will be held at the Aycock Funeral Home, 505 South Federal Highway, Stuart FL 34994 on Monday October 19, 2015 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
In lieu of flowers donations in Helena’s memory may be made to First Baptist Church of Malabar for Rescued Horses Saved Kids.
All arrangements have been entrusted to Aycock Funeral Home, Stuart Chapel.
