James L Roman

Born in Marion, Ohio, Mr. Roman had previously lived in Ellington, Florida before relocating to the Hobe Sound area in 1974.

He was a very talented contractor, an auto mechanic, and an expert handyman. Mr. Roman attended Hobe Sound Bible Institute for one year

He was a member of Hobe Sound Bible Chapel and Wesley Chapel in Jupiter.

Mr. Roman was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nancy Roman of Hobe Sound, FL; son, Adam Lloyd Roman of Hobe Sound, FL; son, Timothy Lee Roman of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; sister, Opal H. Crussel of Kingsport, TN; brother, Dan H. roman of Zephyrhills, FL; sister, Bettie Ann Huley and her husband, David of Durham, NC; and two grandchildren, Christina and Sophia Roman.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 7, 2012 from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM, with a funeral service to begin at 11:00 AM at Aycock Funeral Home in Stuart, FL. Interment will be held at South Florida National Cemetery.
