Born in San Francisco, CA, raised in Massachusetts, his work took him to the Philippine Islands, Taiwan, Germany and various places around the world before relocating to the Stuart area 16 years ago.
James was an engineer and worked for GE Aircraft Engines worldwide for over 40 years. He loved boating, travelling and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Kay of Stuart, Florida; son, John and his wife, Sarah of Sacramento, California; and his mother, Margaret Stone of Marblehead, Massachusetts.
A gathering of friends will be held on Sunday, March 16, 2014 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Aycock Funeral Home, Stuart, Florida with a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
