Joyce C Hawkins

Joyce grew up on a family farm in St. Joseph, MI, relocating to Florida when she was a young girl. Joyce worked as a model for many years and met the love of her life, Bill Hawkins, Sr. while on a blind date while both were attending the University of Miami. They proved the naysayers wrong by celebrating 63 years of marriage while producing 3 loving children and 6 adoring grandchildren. Joyce was also a successful realtor and was instrumental in getting The Quest Center (a special needs school) built in Broward County.

Joyce is survived by her daughter Susan (Mike) and their children Jamie, Jennifer and Mikey, son Bill Hawkins, Jr. (Ashleigh) and their kids “Trey”, Brooke and Dawson and brother John Chaperon (Karen), and their children JJ and Jeff. She was predeceased by her husband and daughter Dawn.
