Kathleen Ann Klein

Kathy was born in Binghamton, NY to Therese and Elton (Al) Klein. She attended Chenango Valley High School where she met many of her closest friends. After moving to Florida in her early twenties, she fulfilled a loyal career working 39 years for Southeast Frozen Foods.

Kathy was cherished as the best aunt by her many nieces and nephews. She deeply valued time with them and never missed a milestone, no matter how far she had to travel. She was also a devoted friend who formed lifelong bonds with those she loved—many of whom became like family. Together, they shared unforgettable adventures, traveling to places like Ireland, Italy, Greece, and beyond.

Drawn to warm weather, Kathy made Florida her home in her early twenties and never looked back. Besides a brief stint in Canton, Georgia, she truly embraced life in the Sunshine State. Kathy also had a special place in her heart for cats. Over the years, she rescued and cared for countless cats and gave them a loving home.

Kathy was preceded in death by Therese Klein, Elton (Al) Klein, Duke Klein, and is survived by her siblings, Keith Klein (Joanie), John Klein, Tia Ryan (Mike). She is also survived by her daughter, Megan McKnight Stanley (Chris), and her nieces and nephews, Kelly Klein, Danny Klein (Kelly), Amy Ash (Mike), Megan Mordoff (John), Kevin Klein, Lindsay Ryan MacLeod (Colton) and Ashley Ryan.

As Kathy requested, there will be no funeral service. We encourage you to remember her in the ways that feel most personal — through stories and time wi th those who loved her.
