Lena Blansfield

Born in Watertown, New York, Mrs. Blansfield had previously lived in Westbury, New York before relocating to the Stuart area 37 years ago.

She was a seamstress and had previously worked for Ola Knitting Mills in Watertown, New York for over 12 years.

Mrs. Blansfield was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, and had volunteered at Martin Memorial Hospital for 32 years serving with over 9000 hours. She was also active in the Riverland Retirement Community for several years.

She is survived by her daughter, Gloriajean Koenig and her husband, Joseph of Pleasant Garden, NC; grandchildren, Joseph, Michael, Lisa, Maryann, John Paul, and John B., Jr.; brother, Joseph J. Geno of Watertown, NY; sister, Josephine Walts, Bartlett, TN, and eleven great grandchildren.

Mrs. Blansfield is predeceased by her husband, Oliver Herbert Blansfield and her son, John.

A memorial mass will be held at a later date.
