He is survived by his mother, Nina M. Zaccagnini of Stuart, Florida; his father Phillip A. Zaccagnini, Jr. of Jupiter, Florida; his brothers, Marc A. Zaccagnini of Jupiter, Florida; and Michael A. Zaccagnini of Greenville, Rhode Island. He is also survived by his former wife, Julie Zaccagnini of Rhode Island and five nephews, and a great-nephew and great-niece all of Rhode Island.
Matthew loved to cook and worked as an Assistant Chef in a local restaurant. He also enjoyed fishing, and loved animals especially his friend's dog, Chickie.
Matthew was a loving son and a constant support to his mother.
A Celebration of Life for Matthew will be held in March at Grace Immanuel Bible Church in Jupiter, FL
