Survivors include his loving wife Mary Ann and many nieces and nephews. Born July 1, 1935, he was predeceased by his devoted parents Lillian and C. Richard Johnson and sister Barbara Fields.
Neal retired as Captain from the Wallingford Fire Department after 31 years of service. Prior to that he served 7 years as a volunteer firefighter for the Yalesville Volunteer Fire Company. He was also privileged to serve two years in the US Army during the Korean War.
Services will be at Riverside Memorial Park in Tequesta, Florida on July 28, 2015 at 11:00am.
