Peter Louis Rossetti was born in Greenwich Village, NYC, to Frank and Erma Rossetti. He graduated from CW Post University. He proudly served his country in the United States Army Reserve in the Chemical Decontamination Unit. He first moved his family to Cherry Hill, NJ from West Islip, NY and then to Princeton, NJ to be close to NYC for his career as a successful annuity broker working at the World Trade Center for AON Corporation. Peter is survived by Janet, his loving wife of 53 years, his twin daughters Lisa Rossetti and Kimberly Haywood (Doug), four grandchildren David and Melissa Perelmuter, Connor and Liam Haywood. He was a loving brother to his only sibling, the late Barbara Vernieri.
Peter was a lover of Tate’s chocolate chip cookies, the smell of the ocean, a beautiful day at the beach, our mothers linguine with clam sauce, Steely Dan, The Beatles, James Taylor, Andreas Bocelli, Italian lemon soda and a great movie. He was the best father, husband and the most proud grandfather who ever lived. He travelled the world, from Monte Carlo, Morocco, the Amalfi Coast to South Africa and Zimbabwe and everywhere in between. He taught us if you are extra (extra) nice to the waitress at the fried clam place, they may just bring you extra clams (and looking back, that was really just one big life lesson). He had the biggest heart, the warmest lopsided smile and always saw the good in people. He was a true gentleman, a problem solver, a master negotiator. He wrote love letters to his wife until the end (with the help of the nurse). He wanted the best for his family, always. He was simply one of a kind.
