Richard B Austin

Richard Bain Austin, 88, of Stuart, FL and formerly of Cutler Bay, FL passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Martin Hospital South. Born on February 21, 1927 in Miami, FL, he was the son of Richard James and Harriet Isabelle (nee Bain) Austin. He moved to Stuart in April 2015 coming from Cutler Bay, FL. Bain received his law degree from University of Florida in 1950; he has been a member of the Florida Bar Since 1951; member of the American Bar Association and Association of Transportation Practitioners. He has practiced before the Florida Supreme Court. Bain was an Army veteran of World War II. He was an avid Gator fan and Dolphin fan. Survivors include his children, Teresa Feightner of Hobe Sound, Lisa Donoho of Portland, TN, and Earl Austin of Jacksonville Beach, FL; grandchildren, Jason Wells, Verity Davidson, Kenny Feightner, Serena Kahute, Tyler Austin and Blain Donoho; great grandchildren, Taylor, Haiden, Maddox, Kai and Kade; nephew, Keith C. Austin, Jr. and niece, Beth Willingham. Bain was preceded in death by his wife, Gwen Austin; son, Richard B. Austin, Jr., and brother, Keith C. Austin.
