Robert was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois where he lived until 1991, when he and his wife Amy moved to Florida. Robert was always his happiest being the captain of his boat with Amy, as well as his family and friends just to explore and catch a great fish. When he wasn’t on his boat Robert loved taking a ride on his Harley -- always ready for a fast ride, no fear in this man. Robert loved traveling, especially to the Caribbean, the sunshine, tropics and palm trees was his daily dose of energy. He loved a challenge no matter what it was, Robert was always ready to achieve a new goal.
Robert was a very accomplished man, running a successful car business for 26 years providing clients with quality cars from Fort Lauderdale all the way up to Stuart, Florida. He proudly enjoyed his dreams and was always thinking of the future.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, William and Dolores, his brother Anthony and his loving father in law, Greg.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Amy, his children, Robert (Aga), Jeffrey (Michaelene) and Gregory, his sisters, Beckey (Steve) and Eleanor “Cookie” (Brad), his brother Michael (Marlene), his grandsons Jeffrey, Noah and Luke, with a granddaughter on the way, his mother in law, Barbara, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Robert is also survived by his two dogs Niko and Darby who he loved so much, “His Boys”.
Robert had such great words “of wisdom” and was always ready to help someone no matter what they needed. He was a jack of all trades.
In honor of Robert, please add some photos of your favorite memories with him, he would love that.
Robert's wish was to float in the blue ocean waters and forever be “Driftin’ and Dreamin’”.
We all love you and will miss you forever.
