

Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, he had previously lived in South Florida and the New Jersey area before relocating to Stuart 25 years ago.
Tommy was the owner of Florida Boat Hauler for 12 years in Stuart, and was a licensed marine captain with a two ton rating. He was also a member of AOPA and was a private pilot with a passion for flying. Tommy was a race car driver and was Chief of Grid in the SCCA South Florida Region. He was a member of the BMW Car Club, as well as a member of Four Paws Racing Team. Tommy was a former model and was on All My Children.
He is survived by wife, Diane of Stuart, Florida; daughter Carleigh Beatus of Palm City FL; daughter Kimberly Johnson (Jonnie) of Mathews NC; daughter, Brianna Hediger of Indian Trail, NC; daughter, Cassandra Soutar of Homestead, FL; mother, Nanci B. Smith of Red Bank, NJ; sister, Suzie Halper of Rumson, NJ; brother in law, Bobby Halper of Rumson, NJ; niece and nephew Alexandra and Andrew Halper both of Rumson, NJ; and 11 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Aycock Funeral Home in Stuart, FL. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 3:00 PM at 1st Baptist Church in Stuart.
