Born in Toronto, Canada, Vicker, along with her husband, Roscoe became permanent residents of Hobe Sound in 2006.
Prior to retirement, she had previously worked in the sales department for the food industry. After retirement, Vicker loved to take cruises, and travel the country via their Harley with Roscoe. She was one heck of a cribbage and euchre player too. Vicker truly loved animals, and was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles of Martin County #3896., where she was the women’s Chaplain. She was of Methodist faith and almost every day you could see her and Roscoe visiting the First Methodist of Hobe Sound’s thrift shop, or as she affectionately called it, “The Met”.
Vicker will truly be missed; she was one of a kind, and will always be loved.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Roscoe Dawe of Hobe Sound, FL; son, Justin and his wife, Mary of Phoenix, Arizona; step-son, Stephen of St. Catherine, Ontario; and step grandchildren, Kristen and Chelsea.
Vicker was predeceased by her parents, George and Audrey, and her step-son, Kevin.
A celebration of Vicker’s life will be held on Saturday, March 12 at 2:00 PM at the Eagles Club, 2904 SE Waaler St, Stuart, FL 34997
