Wanda Bowman Millwood

Wanda H. Bowman Millwood, 92, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart, Florida. Raised in Ohio, Wanda was born in Dille, West Virginia while her mother visited family. A very Christian woman and a hard worker, she was very active in the church including the West Hollywood Baptist Church, Pompano Baptist Church and most recently the Covenant Baptist Church in Stuart where she taught Adult Sunday School. Wanda was also very happy and proud to host and assist Missionaries who came to the area for several years. Wanda was a very strong and wonderful mother, grand-mother and great grand-mother and will be sorely missed by all. Wanda is survived by her children; William, Diana Henriksen, David, Elizabeth McConnell, Charles and Wallace; many grand-children, great grand-children and great great grand-children. She was pre-deceased by her husband William Burton Bowman, son Paul Edward Bowman and grandson Jeffrey McConnell. There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Fernhill Memorial Gardens, 1501 South Federal Highway, Stuart, Florida. Arrangements are under the direction of Aycock Funeral Home Young & Prill Chapel, 6801 SE Federal Highway, Stuart, Florida.
