

Born December 26, 1927 in Stuarts Draft, she was a daughter of the late Edward Bradley and Minnie Juanita (Harris) Campbell.
Prior to retirement, Anne was employed by JC Penny where she worked as a personnel director. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Stuarts Draft, and the Waynesboro Chapter #105 Order of the Eastern Star. She greatly enjoyed crocheting and will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt and friend to many.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Edith Lotts; and two brothers, William “Bill” Campbell and David Campbell.
Survivors include her three children, Jim Almarode and wife, Elaine, of Stuarts Draft, Jackie Almarode and wife, Danielle Eavers of Waynesboro, and Jan Scott Almarode and wife, Ally of Clermont, FL; four grandchildren, John Taylor Almarode, Joseph Bradley Almarode, Emily Taylor Almarode, and Bailey Elizabeth Almarode; five great-grandchildren, Dylan Bradley Almarode, Ava Elizabeth Almarode, Tessa Anne Hayley Almarode, Jackson Thomas Cleveland Almarode, and Atlis Lee Heller; sisters-in-law, Margie Campbell of Stuarts Draft and Violet Campbell of Greenville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Following a private family graveside service, the family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 1, 2023 at Calvary United Methodist Church, 2179 Stuarts Draft Highway, Stuarts Draft.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary United Methodist Church or the Augusta Health Foundation, c/o Hospice of the Shenandoah, P.O. Box 1000, Fishersville, VA 22939.
