

Barbara was born September 29, 1940, a daughter of the late Elmer K. and Janie Marie (Jordan) VanFossen.
She was a graduate of Wilson Memorial High School and retired from Augusta Health Hospital.
She was a faithful member of White Hill Church of the Brethren in Stuarts Draft. She enjoyed singing in the church choir, bowling, driving on the parkway, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Barbara loved her family and was able to welcome her first great granddaughter, Adeline Grace Wise into the family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Clinton Foxx; sister, Gloria Jean VanFossen who died at the age of six months.
Survivors include a daughter, Karen Campbell and husband Tommy Campbell, Jr.; two sons, Robert Foxx and wife Debbie and Michael Foxx.
She also leaves a granddaughter, Tiffany Wise and husband Daniel; grandsons, Jonathan, Andrew, Aaron and Matthew Foxx and a great granddaughter, Adeline Grace Wise; sisters, Nancy Thomas and husband Lane, sister, Brenda Smiley and husband Fred, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 7, 2024 at White Hill Church of the Brethren with Pastor David Chappell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Matthew Foxx, Andrew Foxx, Aaron Foxx, Jonathan Foxx, Tommy Campbell, Jr. and Jamie Shipe.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
