Benjamin Phillip Massie, 54, of Waynesboro, passed away on Monday March 8, 2021 at his residence.
Mr. Massie was born on June 9, 1966 in Waynesboro, and was a son of the late Bennie Phillip and surviving Claudia Mae (Jordan) Massie. He worked for WNI and most recently for Vector Industries.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Massie is survived by his brother, Hollis Jordan and his significant other, Betty Daggy of Mt. Solon; sisters, Debbie Landes of Stuarts Draft, Tammy Guy of Waynesboro; special nephew, Jonathan Price; Dog Abbey; special friend Lewis Bryant; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was also preceded in death by a brother in law, Calvin Landes; and his beloved dog Brandy.
The family would like to extend a sincere THANK YOU to the drivers of the Coordinated Area Transport System (CATS), for all the care and compassion shown to Mr. Massie
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 2 PM at Calvary United Methodist Cemetery in Stuarts Draft.
There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home. The casket will remain closed.
Arrangements entrusted to the Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
