Carol Ann Mentus

Carol Ann (Volga) Mentus, 77, of Stuarts Draft, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Royal Care Senior Living Center, Staunton. Born June 7, 1938 in Hartford, CT, she was the daughter of the late Frank J. and Anna (Olender) Volga. Survivors include her loving husband of 54 years, Ronald L. Mentus; son, Ron Mentus of Glen Allen, VA; niece, Melissa Mulligan of Stratford, CT. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday, November 20, 2015 at the Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 1870 Stuarts Draft Highway. Following the visitation at noon, there will be a funeral procession from the funeral home to Mount Vernon Church of the Brethren Cemetery for a graveside service with Chaplain Karen Moore officiating.
