I am so sorry to hear of Colin passing away. He was a very nice man. I worked with him for two years at the camp and every time I needed help he was the first one there to help out. Such a tremendous loss. 
Anita, Lilly and Nick I am so sorry. 

 Sitting here in shock with my heart broken , but tears for the wonderful memories we shared - growing up across the street from one another, playing hide and seek in the corn fields and so much more-and  growing up to young crazy adults - you to Jay ! Riding my bike to the farm to muck out stalls to ride the horses- to hanging in the office, lower barn and small hang out barn- listening to him, playing guitar in the basement- sneaking beers -  and listening to the band playing that could go on to early mornings , hopefully before anyone was up-parties that we hoped Billy or Caroline would not find out about -especially when someone would mess with the bull or cow tipping , crazy rides in snow storms in the big blue Suburban. He was very protective and a great friend anyone would be lucky to have in there life.  I will never forget the sweet boy I meet and the man he grew into, and being so upset when I found out he was moving to Virginia . I will always cherish the memories we made and to one of the biggest hearts a person could have. I never knew him as a Husband or Father , but I have no doubt that he was one of the best -I can not express the sorrow that has touched your family so deeply-my heart and prayers go out to you....He will be missed by many-Sending love and hugs your way

Colin, or Mr. Warmington as the children called him, was such a joy and will be missed by many. He was a shining face in our community and loved all the children as his own. Sending our deepest condolences.

I always liked Colin—even with our ups and downs.  He was smart, generous, and possessed a quick, self-deprecating sense of humor. I knew him for a decade and we bonded over a love of wood, our crazy British mothers, Monty Python and great 1960’s and 70’s music.  I envied his skilled guitar playing and his, dead on, Curly—imitations from the Three Stooges.  He was a master carpenter who humored my attempts to work with him building our house and barn. Early on in the construction process—he’d handle my lack of detailed plans with humor—taking his big hands and grabbing my head and peering into my skull hoping to see a clear construction blueprint. Or the time he cut off the metal clacker for a huge wind chime that he claimed—in his Curly voice: “the bells are disturbing my carpentry feng shui”—replacing the clacker with a gourd from the garden.  He loved his wife, and children, Nicholas and Lily more than anything—proudly touting their accomplishments in life and details of their family vacations.  I’ll miss him.

Colin.....my friend...my brother. As kids we grew up on the same block,  as he and Jay were new to our neighborhood and H.S  in Conshohocken, PA.   I still remember when I first met him and his brother and the striking personality he has always possessed. A big man with a bigger heart. Soft spoken...slow to anger...just an all around wonderful soul.  Always kind, always there to listen to me and my nonsense about all the trivial things teenagers complain about, and he was always there., whenever I needed him.  Truly unique. The man could build anything with the greatest of ease...and flair to boot!!  Soft, soulful music playing his guitar. The sweet crooked smile which was, to me, his trademark!  No words ....just great memories.  

I have fond memories of Collin teaching a horseback riding lesson at Ashford Farm. He was such a caring man. He loved horses and he adored all the children as well. My thoughts and prayers are with you Anita Lily, and Nicholas at this sad time. May Collin rest in peace.

A summer to remember was the summer when Prince Charles married Diana.  We slept on the streets of London Colin,John, Colin's Aunt Joyce( my Mum) and I. It was such a fun magical night.  I also remember one night that summer going to fetch him and Johnny Miller from the village  Pub lol.     

Every board on our barn is a tribute to his skill as a craftsman and his loyalty as a friend.  We have the only chicken house with flying buttress sides.  His sense of humor made every project fun.  His signature memento on every major project was broken reading glasses.   Thus far we have four pair.  He is remembered with great affection and respect.

Dear Anita, Lily, and Nicholas--

We are going to miss Colin so much! We'd literally be homeless if not for him. When he and Nick were building our cabin together over ten years ago (and I was still in DC), I kept wondering why it was taking so long. One weekend, I arrived early (and unannounced) to find the two of them sitting amidst boards and tools, Colin and Nick both with guitars, Colin trying (in vain) to teach Nick. I soon discovered that they spent about half their time building and half their time talking about all sorts of things: current events, movies, lots of music, animals, and most of all Lily and Nicholas. You two need to know how incredibly proud he was of you both and was 100% sure you all were destined for great things. He never stopped talking about you. I can't imagine how tough it is to lose such a wonderful dad, and my heart breaks for you. With love, Kate

I knew Colin since 1981. He was always a wonderful, kind, sweet man. He will be missed and I know he loved his children very much and was also very proud. I hope you can seek comfort and solace knowing how much your father was loved by so many people and in the love he had for all of you. He will be missed. 

Fond memories of Colin and Anita as well as the camp kids helping set up jumps for the horse show. Colin will be missed!

Colin you were always there with a smile and helping hand at Ashford Farms and new meadow. May you be at peace and my prayers and healing thoughts are with you and your family at this sad time.
