Ibry Dale Meadows

Born July 12, 1959 in Waynesboro, he was the son of the late Roger Allen and Lillie Gertrude (Blackwell) Meadows.

Prior to retirement, Dale worked as a master plumber for 33 years. As an avid outdoorsman, he greatly enjoyed spending time up on the mountain. He also loved time spent with his family, especially building model cars with his nephew. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Debbie Darlene (Meadows) Marshall.

Survivors include his children, D.J. Meadows and wife, Christy of Stuarts Draft, and Bridgett Sanders and husband, Shea of Stuarts Draft; grandchildren, Tyler, Kaela and Lillie Meadows and Joseph Meadows and Caleb Pickard; brother, Allen Meadows and wife, Tina of Stuarts Draft; nieces, Monica Jarvis and Tiffany Meadows; and nephew, A.J. Meadows.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at the Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 1870 Stuarts Draft Highway, Stuarts Draft.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 30, 2021 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Waynesboro.

Active pallbearers will be Tyler Meadows, Joseph Meadows, A.J. Meadows, Shea Sanders, Chancy Blackwell, and Forrest Johnson.
