Johnny Robert Hanger, Jr.

He was born April 24 1973 in Staunton to John R. Hanger, Sr. of Staunton and Doris Biby of Waynesboro.

He is survived by a son, Cole Hanger of Florida, daughter, Brandi Campbell of Mint Springs, two grandchildren, Ezekial Campbell and Halie Hanger, brother, Randy A Hanger, step- brothers, Dennis and Christopher McGuffin, father and step-mother,, John R. Hanger, Sr. and Bonnie McGuffin, maternal grandfather Thomas Sprouse. Also surviving to cherish his memory is his special friend, Lori Allman and her children, Whitney Sobczak, Tesla Fitzgerald, Jarrett Fitzgerald, and Kyle Sobczak, her grandson, uncles, Charles, Larry and Donald Sprouse, Thomas and Jerry Guffey, and Steven Hanger, aunts, Cynthia Sprouse, Mary Sue Simmons, Sherry Lucas and many cousins,

Buck loved to work on cars, and anything with a motor, he would crawl right down in the engine, he loved spending time with Lori and her children and grandchild Kyle. He will be sadly missed by all of those that knew him.

A celebration of Buck’s life will be held at a Memorial Service on Saturday, July 13th, 2PM at Shenandoah Heights Baptist Church, 901 Shenandoah Ave. Waynesboro, Va. with Pastor Paul F. Laprevotte officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Shenandoah Heights Baptist Church Glory Bound Motorcycle Ministry.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Reynolds and Hamrick Funeral Home of Waynesboro.
