Joyce Ann Bruce

Joyce Ann Bruce, 69, of Waynesboro passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016. Born November 13, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Simpson and Minnie West Bruce. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Lillie Frances Bruce in 2011. Joyce was well versed with bible scriptures, loved old hymns and blue grass music by Mac Wiseman. She lived in Augusta County her whole life, and was connected with DePaul Community Resources. Survivors include her caregivers, Pat and Lisa Medina-McCauley and their sons, Sidney and Aidan McCauley of which Joyce considered her brothers. A private family burial will be held on Friday. A public memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 2, 2016 at Calvary United Methodist Church by Rev. Charles Reynolds. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
