Kathy McGann Cohron

Born August 7, 1958 in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Annie Belle (Coffey) McGann.

Kathy was a graduate of Stuarts Draft High School Class of 1976. Following high school, she attended Virginia Tech where she graduated in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science in Communications. Prior to retirement, she worked at Atlantic Union Bank where she served as the Branch Manager and Assistant Vice President. She was a faithful employee for 43 years. She was a member of Lyndhurst Faith and Fellowship Church. Kathy greatly enjoyed being involved with community activities including being a part of the Stuarts Draft Christmas Parade planning. She was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling, swimming, and studying history. She will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Christopher Lynn Cohron; and brother, Randy McGann.

Survivors include her children, Nathan Cohron and wife, Megan Crouch of London, UK and Kayla Cohron of Stuarts Draft; brother, Gary McGann and wife, Judy of Stuarts Draft; sister-in-law, Debbie McGann of Stuarts Draft; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Lyndhurst Faith and Fellowship Church Cemetery, 2835 Lyndhurst Road, Lyndhurst with Pastor Sabrina von Schilling officiating. All who plan to attend are asked to meet directly at the cemetery.

There will be no formal viewing or visitation at the funeral home.
