

Leeza Marvin Crummett, 55, of Stuarts Draft, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, March 9, 2015. She was born on February 23, 1960, in Staunton, Virginia. She graduated from Stuarts Draft High School where she was a member of the concert choir as wells as the girls’ track team that captured the 1978 state championship. Throughout her adolescence she was a gifted pianist, and she always enjoyed music and dancing. She was known for her good sense of humor. She was formerly employed with Penny Plate in Staunton and Southern Stainless Equipment in Waynesboro.
She was proceeded in death by her father, Sheldon Marvin, mother, Betty Melvin, stepfather, Floyd Melvin, and maternal grandparents, Harry and Helen Hevener.
She is survived by her faithful husband, Harry Crummett, Jr. of Stuarts Draft, daughter, Deanna Bouldin and her husband, Shane of Acworth, Georgia, stepsons Adam Crummett of Stuarts Draft, and Alex Crummett and his wife, Tonya of Verona, grandsons, Maddox Bouldin and Mason Bouldin of Acworth, Georgia, her siblings, Steve Melvin and his wife, Tammy of Waynesboro, Ann Ayres and her husband, Andrew of Stuarts Draft, and Harriet Thompson and her husband, Greg of Fishersville, mother-in-law, Louise Crummett of Stuarts Draft, two sisters-in-law, Micah Nicholson and her husband, Rex of Stuarts Draft, and Cynthia Sweet and her husband, Danny of Stuarts Draft, a brother-in-law, Charles Crummett and his wife, Virginia May of Stuarts Draft, her loving and devoted cousin, Vicky Conyers and her husband, Dann of Fishersville, seven nieces, three nephews, one great-nephew, and many cousins.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Hospice of the Shenandoah, P.O. Box 215, Fishersville VA 22939
