

Born June 11, 1943 in Rocky Ford, CO, she was a daughter of the late Charlie and Elma (Elsesser) Black.
Marlene was a faithful member and volunteer of Calvary United Methodist Church, Stuarts Draft. Prior to retirement, she worked at Farm Credit in Pueblo, Co. While living in Rocky Ford she was a member of Rocky Ford United Methodist Church where she served as the church pianist for many years. Marlene’s favorite hobby was gardening.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Walker; son, Derald Grasmick; and brother, Charlie Black.
Survivors include her daughter, Bev Taylor and husband, Rick of Stuarts Draft; and son, Donald Grasmick of Florida.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Calvary United Methodist Church, 2179 Stuarts Draft Highway, Stuarts Draft with Pastor Jenelle Watson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary United Methodist Church.
