Mary Frances Hall Brooks

Mary Frances Hall Brooks, 82, of Stuarts Draft, went to be with her Lord Jesus on Saturday June 8, 2013. She was born on May 5, 1931 in Schuyler, VA and was a daughter of the late Massie and Gladys (Maupin) Hall. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Jo Brooks Davis; six sisters, Ruby Hall, Viola Shope, Hazel Price, Leatrice Metcalf, Marion Atkins, Mildred Shifflett; one brother, Cecil Hall. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Garnett S. Brooks; a daughter Faye Brooks Benavitch; a son, Douglas Brooks and wife Amy; six grandchildren, Andrea Benavitch Wasiewski and husband Nicholas, Kristen Benavitch, Douglas Brooks, Jr., Dustin Brooks, Christopher Carter and wife Erin, Ashley Davis; one great-grandson, Liam Michael Wasiewski; two brothers, Massie Hall, Jr., Donald Hall; Ethel Fitzgerald; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday June 12, 2013 at 11 AM at Rankin United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Chuck Balsamo officiating.
